Another time served printer, Ray changed over to Print Management some 15 years ago. He joined Blackwell Print 5 years ago as Works Manager, with a brief to concentrate on ensuring that the print process was as efficient as possible.

Ray's input has enabled us to dramatically shorten our lead times and he has overseen an increase in business to the extent that we now operate around the clock from 6am Monday to 10pm Friday with weekend overtime where required.

Another red hot football fan – Chelsea (his original “home” team) is resolutely defended against comments from others whose allegiances may vary! Ray's frank but fair judgement on most things is appreciated by staff and customers alike. He prefers to be called Raymond – which is generally why he isn't!
